Job Description

Install and dismantle various types of pumps, piping, and related components according to specifications and safety standards. Perform regular maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections, to ensure optimal performance and prevent issues. Diagnose and repair pump malfunctions, which may involve electrical and mechanical work, or hydraulic problems. Replace worn or damaged parts, such as mechanical seals, bearings, impellers, and motors, aligning shafts, connecting piping, and ensuring proper coupling Test pumps after repairs or installations to ensure proper functionality. Identifying and addressing pump issues, including wear and tear, damage, and malfunctions Performing repairs, including disassembly, replacement of parts, machining, and reassembly Able to carry out welding job by using TIG, MIG, Oxyacetylene, Plasma cutting machine Troubleshooting and diagnosing pump failures Maintaining accurate records of all work performed Able to write simple job reports Willing to work overtime to meet project deadlines Assisting with other tasks assigned by supervisors or engineers Working in both in-house and on-site locations Multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently

REQUIREMENT

SPM Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering At least 3 years of the relevant hands-on experience at site as mechanical fitter, pump repairer Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings and specifications. Advanced knowledge on

centrifugal pumps

A valid

GDL License

and able to drive forklift is an added advantage
