\xe2\x80\xa2 To assist the CSUP and/or Cargo Operator in all cargo handling, tank cleaning and ballasting operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Routine maintenance and repairs to cargo, ballast and inert gas systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 To be fully familiar with regulations and work procedures applicable to the assigned task. \xe2\x80\xa2 To execute assigned tasks in compliance with work procedures and/or as instructed by CSUP \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with the PTW System \xe2\x80\xa2 To execute assigned tasks safely, to the best of his ability, and to report hazardous conditions without delay to CSUP or Duty Operator \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure that work such as entry into enclosed spaces and hot work is not undertaken without permission from CSUP \xe2\x80\xa2 To keep all tools, equipment stores etc related to his duties in good order and to maintain stock records and advise on stock orders as required by CSUP \xe2\x80\xa2 Carry out greasing, maintenance, and other routines as instructed \xe2\x80\xa2 Involved in cargo/ballast systems and equipment tests as directed by CSUP \xe2\x80\xa2 Taking care of pump room bilges and cleanliness in pump room \xe2\x80\xa2 Execute daily and export fiscal ullaging/dipping \xe2\x80\xa2 Execute cargo sample taking as requested by CSUP \xe2\x80\xa2 Execute handling of decanted production effluent water \xe2\x80\xa2 The Pump man must have very good knowledge and also ability to operate, maintain and repair liquid cargo, and ballast systems and associated equipment in addition to maintain and repair pump room equipment. \xe2\x80\xa2 To undertake other job responsibilities as and when required by the Superior.
