Job Scope 1. Strategic Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors.
Conduct negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs and quality. 2. Purchase Planning: Analyze purchase requisitions and create purchase orders.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to meet demand.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand requirements and specifications. 3. Supplier Management: Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement improvement initiatives. 4. Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital.
Implement inventory control systems and procedures.
Conduct regular stock audits and identify opportunities for inventory optimization. 5. Cost Analysis: Analyze pricing trends, market conditions, and supplier costs.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiation and strategic sourcing.
Track and report cost savings achieved through procurement activities. 6. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
