Job Description

Scope:



This position involves ensuring that the right product in the right place at the right time in order to maximize sales and minimize costs.

Key Job Authority:



1. Authority to order inventory, supplies, equipment and services for all departments and divisions.

2. Authority to generate and submit purchase requests/purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Job Accountability



1. Manage procurement transactions, order processing and delivery performance.

2. Manage both local and overseas suppliers' performance.

3. Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary.

Job Functions



1. To procure production and engineering parts, materials and consumable for operational needs in accordance to approved PR.

2. Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between supplier and transporter to ensure all items are delivered to consignee on time.

3. Monitoring custom duty.

4. Generate monthly purchasing OTD report

5. System enhancement & process improvement

6. Review material shortages, monitoring and expediting.

7. Generate and submit Purchase requests/Purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.

8. Confirm all orders and their subsequent delivery including reconciling shipments, short and back-stocked orders and damaged items.

9. Log all purchases into the centralized purchasing system for proper tracking and classification.

10. Monitoring the deliveries to ensure the deliveries are met as requested.

11. Maintain files and records.

12. Any other matters that may be assigned by management from time to time.

Education/Training/Experience:



1. Diploma/ Advance Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any other related field.

2. At least 3 Year Working Experience in Manufacturing Environment.

3. Fresh graduates are not encouraged to apply.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities



1. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

2. Able to lead positive working attitude and willing to take up added responsibilities.

3. Good mathematical skills

4. Good knowledge of supply-chain management.

5. Required language(s): English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
