Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Agriculture, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in procurement, preferably in FMCG, agriculture, or fresh produce industry.
• Good negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with local agricultural sourcing or import documentation is an advantage.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a plus (for dealing with certain suppliers).

Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing

• Source and procure fresh fruits (local farms and international suppliers).
• Evaluate supplier quotes, terms, and product quality to select the best options.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery timelines, and credit terms.

Inventory & Forecasting

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with sales & warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Forecast purchasing needs based on seasonal demand and sales trends.
• Minimize wastage and overstock through strategic buying.

Supplier Management

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with farmers, vendors, and importers.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews on price, quality, and reliability.
• Resolve supply-related issues, delays, or disputes promptly.

Documentation & Compliance

• Handle purchasing documentation including POs, invoices, and delivery notes.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, food safety, and import/export regulations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.

Cross-Department Coordination

• Liaise with sales, logistics, and warehouse departments for smooth inbound stock flow.
• Provide market intelligence on price trends, fruit availability, and quality variations.
