Research and identify potential suppliers and vendors.
Obtain quotes, compare prices, and negotiate contracts or terms of service.
Place purchase orders for goods, materials, or services according to company requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed.
Ensure timely delivery of products and follow up with suppliers on order status.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, operations, warehouse) to forecast demand and avoid shortages.
Evaluate supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions affecting supply and pricing.
What we're looking for
Min. O Level / Diploma in related field
At least 1 year experience in purchasing preferred
Good verbal & written communication in English & local language
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Positive attitude, well-organized & detail-oriented
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
