Develop and implement strategies for purchasing and demand planning to maintain appropriate inventory levels, meet customer demand, and minimize excess inventory during new product launches.
Monitor inventory levels and analyze demand patterns to forecast future needs and make informed purchasing decisions.
Negotiate and maintain favorable terms with suppliers.
Support finance in claim processes and collaborate with Brand PICs for proper claim collection.
Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to ensure accurate product demand forecasts align with overall business objectives.
Manage the new product launch process, including market research, development, and positioning.
Develop pricing strategies, product positioning, and promotional plans for new products.
Monitor product performance and provide recommendations for adjustments to optimize sales and profitability.
Stay updated with industry trends to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in purchasing and demand planning, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG distribution.
Experience in launching new products and managing the product lifecycle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Mandarin speaker is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with ERP systems and demand planning software is a plus.
