TP Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Purchasing Assistant

to support our procurement operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing supplier coordination, and ensuring smooth purchasing activities within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Forecast and plan orders based on system formulas and customer requests for non-poison items (e.g., supplements, medical devices, etc.). Source, evaluate, and compare quotations from suppliers. Follow up on order confirmations, delivery status, and relevant documentation with suppliers. Maintain and update supplier records, price lists, and purchasing data. Assist in negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms. Coordinate purchasing matters with the store, finance, and other departments. Check and verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery orders. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures. Support the Purchasing Executive or Manager with daily administrative and operational tasks. Any other task given/instruct by your Immediate Supervisor or the Management.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of purchasing experience are encouraged to apply. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP or inventory systems is an added advantage. Good communication and negotiation skills. Organized, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
