Job Description


Vendor Research and Selection:Identify potential vendors for IT products and services.
Research and evaluate vendors based on factors such as quality, cost, and delivery time. Price Negotiation:Negotiate prices, terms, and discounts with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Work to secure favorable terms and conditions in procurement agreements. Purchase Order Processing:Generate purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and compliant with company policies. Order Tracking and Management:Track the status of purchase orders and liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Resolve any issues related to orders, such as delays or discrepancies. Inventory Management:Monitor and manage inventory levels of IT equipment and supplies.
Coordinate with other departments to maintain accurate inventory records. Budget Management:Assist in budget planning for IT procurement activities.
Track and report on spending against budget allocations. Contract Management:Assist in the development and management of contracts with vendors.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. Quality Assurance:Collaborate with other departments to establish quality standards for IT products.
Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Market Research:Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies.
Provide recommendations for alternative products or suppliers based on market research. Communication and Collaboration:Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as IT teams, to understand their procurement needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to streamline procurement processes. Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and organized records of all procurement activities.
Ensure compliance with documentation and record-keeping policies. Problem Resolution:Address and resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and vendor performance.
Escalate issues to higher management when necessary. Compliance:Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Stay updated on changes in procurement regulations affecting the IT industry. Cost Analysis:Conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes. Sustainability Initiatives:Work towards incorporating sustainability considerations into procurement decisions.
Evaluate vendors based on their commitment to environmental and ethical practices. Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month Benefits:
