Purchasing Assistant

Job Description

Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards. Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and supplier documentation. Follow up with vendors to confirm order status, delivery schedules, and shipment tracking. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Assist in negotiating terms, prices, and delivery timelines with suppliers. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of stock as needed. Support the Purchasing Manager in identifying and resolving supply chain issues. Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., Accounting, Production, Logistics) to fulfill purchasing needs. Prepare reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
