Serve as the primary support for all communication and coordination activities with local suppliers.
Performance Reporting:
Track and compile essential supplier performance data to contribute to regular reporting and analysis.
Market Research:
Conduct foundational research on potential new suppliers and alternative product sourcing options.
Procurement Support:
Assist in core procurement activities, including reviewing pricing, compiling promotional data, and managing product sourcing documentation.
Merchandise & Logistics:
Support merchandise planning and follow up on supplier delivery schedules to ensure timely stock arrival.
Trend Monitoring:
Monitor and compile relevant information regarding current and emerging market trends.
Internal Coordination:
Facilitate effective coordination with internal departments on all supplier and product-related inquiries and matters.
New Product Launch:
Track timelines and gather supplier updates to assist in the smooth execution of new product launches.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive and accurate records and documentation for all supplier contracts and communications.
Requirements
Diploma/ Degree in Supplier Management related
Experience in the retail industry would be an added advantage.
Strong analytical and communication skills
Patient and with positive work attitude
Able to work under tight schedule
Must be willing to work at Elmina East (Seksyen U16, Shah Alam)
