Purchasing Assistant

Job Description

Job Scope:



a) Assist in preparing purchase orders and purchase requisitions.

b) Support sourcing and comparison of suppliers, materials, and prices.

c) Follow up with suppliers on quotations, delivery schedules, and order status.

d) Monitor stock levels and coordinate with store/production for replenishment needs.

e) Maintain proper records of purchasing documents and supplier information.

f) Assist in resolving basic delivery or quality issues with suppliers.

g) Provide updates to internal departments on purchasing matters.

h) Carry out any other tasks assigned by the superior.

Requirements:



a) Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.

b) Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

c) Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

d) Able to work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.

e) Good communication skills, teamwork, and basic negotiation skills.

f) Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to handle multiple tasks at once.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
