Purchasing Assistant

Job Description

Assist in preparing

Purchase Requisitions (PR)

and

Purchase Orders (PO)

based on approved requests. Liaise with

suppliers and vendors

on pricing, delivery schedules, order status, and product specifications. Follow up on

delivery of goods

to ensure orders are received on time and in correct quantity and quality. Check and verify

Delivery Orders (DO)

, invoices, and related documents against Purchase Orders. Maintain proper

filing and records

for purchasing documents, quotations, contracts, and supplier information. Assist in sourcing new suppliers and obtaining

price quotations

for comparison and cost control purposes. Update purchasing records and data in the system accurately. Coordinate with internal departments (store, production, accounts) on purchasing-related matters. Support periodic

stock monitoring

and inform the supervisor of low stock levels. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Executive / Manager from time to time.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
