Purchasing Clerk
Job Description
Identify potential vendors and obtain quotes Help maintain our supply inventory levels and negotiate deals wih potential vendors Conduct regular price comparisons to ensure that the company is always getting the best price for each product that is purchased Track orders from initial order to delivery and ensure timely delivery Conduct market research to identify pricing trends Follow up with vendors, as needed, to confirrm or change orders Prepare orders compile reports and maintain uupdated records of each purchased Work closely with relevant departments to ensre products purchased are in line with the needs of the company
