Involve in parts costing strategy and synchronize with global direction.
Request for Quotation (RFQ) & review supplier quotation and cost analysis before proposing to management.
Propose Maker layout during evaluation based on Quality, Cost, Delivery judgement.
Performed Audit at supplier premises.
Prepare cost analysis and Value Analysis Value Engineering (VAVE) for new model development and mass production part.
Source & develop local suppliers as parts of localization activities.
Reflect & update latest cost based on exchange rate fluctuation, trend & perform analysis on changes.
Negotiate with suppliers to meet reasonable parts cost target.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chains, and any related field.
Able to read and understand engineering/technical 2D drawing.
At least 2 years working experience as Procurement/Purchasing/Sourcing/Costing Engineer or Technical Buyer. Experience in Automotive Industry is an added advantage.
Possess valid driving license and able to travel as and when required.
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Proven skills for Project Management in current employment.
