Job responsibilities:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals and objectives. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions. Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities for cost savings. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and components. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance. Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements. Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchasing and supplier performance. Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and performance metrics to management.

Job requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in using purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. * Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to purchasing and procurement.
