About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Purchasing Engineer to join our team at GFB Automotive Sdn. Bhd. in Bandar Puteri Puchong. This full-time role is critical to our purchasing operations and will involve developing strategies, managing suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective, high-quality procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate suppliers to identify the most suitable partners capable of delivering high-quality products at competitive prices. Develop, implement, and drive procurement strategies to achieve cost-saving targets. Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data. Assess and enhance supplier processes and systems, including supplier assessments and development programs.

Requirements

Degree in any Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Purchasing Engineer. Preferably experienced in the automotive parts manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge and working experience with IATF 16949 requirements.
