Job Description

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain or any field.
  • Required language(s): Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking vendors
  • Responsible, positive attitude and self-motivated to learn.
  • Working experience in Construction environment will be preferred
  • Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Preferably Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent
Tanggungjawab
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on price, quality, delivery, and service capabilities. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors.
  • Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase material or services from potential suppliers (local & overseas) via e commerce portal.
  • Review and process purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Verify specifications, quantities, and deliverables within stipulated time frame
  • Liaising with the respective department to determine their needs on specific product or service and ensure sourcing being carried out within a specific time frame.
  • Monitoring stock levels, tracking product movement, assist in stock planning.
  • Reordering items as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a full record and coordinate with various suppliers and compare costs for purchasing requisition.
  • Responsible to ensuring all purchasing activities are compliance with company policy and procedures requirement.
  • To communicate and support staff from various department regarding of the administrative request / task as needed.
  • Act as interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities
  • Consistently update and review purchasing, sales, costing, retail pricing, and sales promotion data in reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Carrying out any other duties delegated by superior from time to time.
