Requirements

• SPM/Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (manufacturing background preferred).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / AutoCount accounting system .
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain sufficient stock.
• Verify and compare quotations, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
• Liaise with internal departments (Production, Accounts, Engineering, etc.) to fulfil material requirements.
• Maintain and update supplier databases and purchasing records.
• Track orders and ensure timely payment to suppliers.
• Assist in vendor performance evaluation and cost-saving initiatives.
