Company Description Bufori Motor Car Company (M) Sdn Bhd is a luxury car manufacturer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company was originally founded in Sydney, Australia in 1986 and moved to Malaysia in the 90s. BUFORI motorcars are hand-crafted to international standards using only the finest materials and modern technology. Each unit is made-to-order and customised to the requirements of its owner. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Executive. The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for managing purchase orders and purchase requisitions, overseeing purchase management, communicating with suppliers and vendors, and overseeing procurement processes. Sourcing, negotiating, and buying of goods, materials and services to meet the Company\'s Operational requirements. Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods. This includes sourcing for at least 3-4 suppliers pricing. Monitor and maintain inventory levels together with the relevant departments involved. Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues in a timely manner. Communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations. Acts as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes related to new projects and activities. Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities. Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications. Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships. Assess and evaluate suppliers\' performance to ensure compliance to our requirements. To manage time and prioritise tasks effectively. To cultivate good commercial and financial awareness with full understanding of how failure impacts the production and customer order fulfillment. To make full use of the existing ERP system to assist in carrying out your job efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience as a purchasing executive or relevant position with at least 2 years\' experience. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in procurement processes and best practices Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with vendors and suppliers Experience in the automotive industry is a plus Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Ability to work under pressure A good team player
