: \xe2\x80\xa2 Source and buy machinery spare parts, raw materials and services on behalf of the company to be used in daily operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure the availability of materials for the production department at all times. \xe2\x80\xa2 Taking responsibility for purchasing of goods during all stages from purchase requisition (PR) till goods receive note (GRN) closed in the system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Expedite and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery to support production and project. \xe2\x80\xa2 Source and evaluate potential suppliers and develop new vendors in accordance to company\xe2\x80\x99s SOP. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise and build good rapport with suppliers and internal team and other departments (relationship management). \xe2\x80\xa2 Negotiating the best or most cost effective contracts or deals. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure the quality of goods meet with the projects\xe2\x80\x99 specification. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinating the delivery schedule and ensure the goods arrive timely without disturbing regular operation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain database - update and file all material requisitions, quotations and purchase orders as per company\xe2\x80\x99s SOP \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep abreast of market trends and conduct regular price and quality comparison. \xe2\x80\xa2 Submit weekly report to Purchasing Manager reflecting accurate update on goods purchased and highlighting any issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Always ready to support ad-hoc tasks assign by the Company or superior. Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidates must at least possess Bachelor\'s Degree/Professional Degree in appropriate field. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in English and Bahasa, good in Cantonese would be an added advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 High level of integrity and meticulousness \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong people skills with pleasant personality. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good in reporting and data analysis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Working experience in construction, automotive and heavy duty equipment would be a great advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
