Client Background: Electrical Product manufacturer & distributor
Headcount: 1
Tenure: Permanent
Location: Balakong, Selangor
Responsibilities:

  • Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery
  • Ensure purchased items comply with Malaysian standards and regulations
  • Handle product certification and approval applications (SIRIM, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, MCMC)
  • Track renewals of certificates and licenses
  • Maintain proper documentation for regulatory submissions
  • Liaise with testing labs, consultants, and authorities when required
  • Support internal and external compliance audits
  • Create Purchase Orders and Material Master in ERP
  • Coordinate shipments from PO issuance to warehouse/site delivery
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
  • Proficient in Mandarin (spoken & written) to liaise with China/Taiwan suppliers
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
