Selection of suppliers (with or without guidelines) within the assigned area of responsibility and in line with the strategy defined for the respective category

Conduct price and contract negotiations with conclusion of the contract in the assigned area of responsibility

Process and transfer order requisitions into purchase orders under the prerequisite of the four-eye-principle in order to ensure the timely availability of materials and inventory control

Conduct supply planning (MRP) in order to achieve the best availability of materials to fulfill demand and at an optimal price including definition of order quantities, reorder points, safety stocks etc. as well as related material master data maintenance

Tracking the status of orders, delivery dates, data entry, maintenance of master data and overall document archiving or relevant administrative tasks in connection with procurement processes

Supplier performance monitoring - ensuring On Time Delivery (OTD) and sense of urgency in ensuring fulfillment of production needs

Support in supplier evaluation in order to gain transparency of the supplier performance in the area of responsibility

Provision of support in relation to complaints and complaint processes in the respective area of responsibility, initiation of necessary clarification, escalation and/or corrective measures

Support inventory management in order to ensure a high delivery capacity with a minimum of inventory

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
At least 3 to 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in purchasing field, preferably with manufacturing background

Computer literate, MS-Office, SAP (would be an added advantage)

Good communication and analytical skills

Able to multitask and handle work pressure

Teamwork - able to work with colleagues from different levels, cross-functional and international collaboration
