MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

in the company and to ensure a smooth and efficient procurement procedure implemented in the company To ensure that procurement activities has been conducted according to documented procedure and sufficient procurement data are gathered before the purchase of goods. To liaise / negotiate with external providers on matters relating to pricing, delivery and terms and condition. Negotiation shall be conducted in an open and professional manner where no deception shall be allowed. To upkeep all procurement data which shall include but not limited to external provider information, purchase price, etc. All this information shall be treated as private and confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the consent from management of the company. To analyze current procurement activities and recommend improvement plan, also work with the operations team on cost-savings initiatives. To coordinate external provider evaluation activities, monitor the performance and implement improvement plan or develop potential external providers. To be assigned with special tasks on an ad-hoc basis should the need arises. Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, vendor relationship management and continuous improvement for the company. Monitor and coordinate delivery and ensure a minimum safety stock level is kept at all time for production and etc. Source for new parts, materials, services or suppliers when the need arises. Perform in a purchase, delivery planning, delivery control & stock control of materials. Deal with suppliers on any quality issues, products replacement, products sample request, pricing and etc. Responsible to process purchase order in the

ERP system [Monitoring G5]

. Participate in purchase report preparation. Coordinate with government agencies to ensure compliance with import regulations, handling necessary paperwork, and obtaining licenses or permits. Monitor import certifications and legal requirements set by the government, collaborating with shipping agencies to ensure proper documentation, such as invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, K1 form, etc.

Have a good understanding of shipping incoterms, HS Code, and importation requirements. Experience in LMW [License Manufacturing Warehouse] will be an advantage.

Monitor the supply chain and shipment status, managing the legal documentation involved in the logistics process. Efficiently negotiate and maintain shipping costs. Manage and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including all necessary documentation and system updates. Analyze current inventories and procedures to identify areas for improvement, suggesting measures to increase efficiency and profitability. Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety, implementing subsequent changes to processes. Review future needs, demands, capacities, and capabilities to facilitate effective planning. Understand multiple languages, including Mandarin, English, and Malay, in written and spoken form, to effectively communicate with international suppliers, partners, and stakeholders. Have experience in

procurement or supply chain management preferably in manufacturing (same industry)

will be an advantage Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Ability to analyze, draw conclusions, and take appropriate actions in response. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Good to have ERP experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Malay languages, enabling effective delivery and understanding of information.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
