Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
Issue and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies and budget requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and other departments to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Maintain and update supplier databases and purchase records.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any delivery or quality issues.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, production) to understand material needs and lead times.
Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
