• Diploma or Degree graduates.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing environment, preferably in the seafood industry.
• Must be able to consume raw seafood as part of business needs.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and terminology
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 is an added value.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and your ability to speak Mandarin is a MUST.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Fresh grads are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Process purchasing orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Responsible for price negotiation in line with the company's purchasing cost-saving objective.
• Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials from both local & overseas suppliers.
• Maintain strong working relationships with our suppliers, both local and overseas.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends & establish long-term purchasing arrangements with suppliers.
• To support supplier yearly evaluation, selection, and performance management-related processes and documentation.
• To perform 3-ways matching of PO, DO, and Invoices, maintain data in procurement systems or databases before submitting to Finance for payment
• Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely processing of supplier invoices and payments.
• To support ISO 9001 internal and external audit activities.
• Maintain proper records of purchases, quotations, suppliers' information, and documentation
• Attend meetings & trade shows if needed.
• Assist the manager for the marketing event if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
