Position : Purchasing, Executive

Type of job : Permanent (6 months probations)

Number of hiring : 1 person

Salary : RM 2,500 - RM 2,800 (not inclusive of phone allowance)

- Subject to increment after probation

Description :

Purchasing Executive source and buy materials, good, and services on

behalf of the employer to be resold or used in daily operations.

Purchasing Executive maintain stock levels, and may also conduct

research, negotiate with vendors, and interview prospective suppliers.

Purchasing Executive also develop strategic for the success of the

company, maintain inventory, negotiate pricing, and produce reports to

share with management

Qualification :

1. Degree in Logistic, Supply Chain, Business Administration or

relevant field

2. Minimum 4 to 5 years' experience in the related field. (Fresh graduates are encouraged if they are open to a steep learning curve)

Responsibilities :

1. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, vendors, and contractors

based on factors such as price, quality, reliability, and delivery

capabilities.

2. Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating

the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.

3. Proficiency in inventory management technique, including

Forecasting, demand planning, and stock control.

4. Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock

as necessary.

5. Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and

business opportunities.

6. Inspecting stock and reporting any fault items or inconsistencies

Immediately working with Warehouse Executive and Technical

department.

7. Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and

received stock.

8. Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or

orders that have been rescheduled.

9. Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as

vendors and suppliers.

10. Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the

correct location in a timely manner.

11. Working to improve purchasing systems and standard operation

processes (SOP)

12. Prepare all the documents for export and import shipment especially

custom clearance and international shipment by liaising with freight

forwarder.

13. Liaise with Warehouse Executive in ensure all material and supplies

are available to fulfill company operational needs. Stock level is

sufficient with no shortage, no overstock or overcharging and quality

is the same or better.

14. Liaise with Technical department regarding all the material, and

Equipment that needed.

15. Source and negotiate for the best-inbound freight and to implement

cost cutting measures where necessary.

16. Ensure proper documentation and filing system of correspondences

and other documents for ISO compliance.

17. Any other ad-hoc as per assigned by the Director or Senior

Executive.
