This role develops procurement strategies, selects suppliers, and oversees purchasing processes to meet organizational goals.
They also manage supplier relationships, monitor inventory, and collaborate with internal teams while providing leadership to purchasing staff and reporting to senior management.
Oversee the purchasing process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Support to implement global sourcing strategy.
Negotiate contracts with key suppliers.
Find and approve regional suppliers with lower costs.
Assist in simplifying and optimizing sourcing processes.
Manage purchasing budgets.
Handle target costing for new projects.
Monitor supplier quality and logistics.
Support cross-functional teams and cost-saving efforts.
Report to Plant Manager or Sourcing Commodity Director and assist as needed
