Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain appropriate inventory levels of medications, over-the-counter products, and other pharmacy supplies. Place and track purchase orders with approved vendors and suppliers. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing. Monitor product availability, expiration dates, and shelf life to reduce waste. Work closely with pharmacists and other team members to forecast product demand. Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards. Stay updated on industry trends, product launches, and changes in product pricing and regulations. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company-specific guidelines for purchasing and inventory management. Resolve any supply chain issues, such as delivery delays or product shortages. Generate and review inventory reports to track spending and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications Required:

Preferably with experience in pharmacy purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management. Familiarity with pharmaceutical products and regulations. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with inventory management. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
