This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high-quality standards.Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.
  • Candidate with experience in a purchasing or procurement role will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.Conduct market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.Negotiate terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery, and payment terms with suppliers.
  • Procurement Process: Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for supplies and equipment.Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overstocking.Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Cost Management: Analyze and manage procurement costs to ensure value for money.Develop and implement cost-saving strategies and initiatives.Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance and contracts to identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all purchased goods and services meet the company\'s quality standards and specifications.Resolve any issues related to defective or unacceptable goods or services with suppliers.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and complete records of all purchasing activities, orders, and contracts.Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis and supplier performance.Collaborate with other departments to forecast future procurement needs.
