Job Description

Assist in creating purchase orders based on approved requisitions and ensure they are processed promptly. Track order status and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of materials and supplies. Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm orders, and follow up on any issues related to pricing, delivery, or quality. Assist in managing supplier relationships to foster reliability and cost-effectiveness. Monitor inventory levels in coordination with the warehouse and production teams to prevent material shortages or overstock. Compare prices, terms, and delivery schedules from various suppliers to identify the best options. Work with the Purchasing Manager to analyze purchasing trends and suggest cost-saving measures. Ensure all purchasing records, invoices, and vendor contracts are accurately filed and easily accessible. Assist in preparing reports related to purchasing activities, budget tracking, and vendor performance. Support compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities. Ensure all materials and supplies ordered meet required quality standards for the manufacturing plant. Collaborate with production, quality, and finance teams to align purchasing activities with operational needs. Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to manage timely receipt and inspection of goods.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
