Position : Purchasing SupervisorJob type : Full-timeGender : Male / FemaleResponsibilities:Supervision & Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of buyers or purchasing agents.
• Assign tasks and monitor the performance of the purchasing team.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

Procurement Management:

• Oversee the procurement of goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company\xe2\x80\x99s goals and objectives.
• Ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of quality materials and services.
• Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.

Supplier Relations:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Resolve issues related to suppliers, such as delivery delays or quality concerns.

Inventory & Cost Control:

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory control team to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Work with finance and operations teams to manage budgets and control costs.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to reduce purchasing expenses.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in any related field, with Supply Chain preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, Malay and Mandarin.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel abroad for training when necessary.
• Proficiency and well known about Construction line.
