• The QA Engineer will administer the company quality program to continually improve the quality level of products and services to achieve total customer satisfaction.
• Establish and implement quality plans and procedures to achieve required level of product quality, reliability and safety.
• Manage product quality assurance, conduct production line audit periodically and work with process owners on internal quality issues \xe2\x80\x93 ICR, INCR, outgoing rejects
• Facilitate quality improvement and problem- solving programs
• Identify, initiate and champion the resolution of cross-functional issues through the development and implementation of systems or procedures
• Support customer and 3rd party audit to the plant with respect to the process and product quality under the care
• As an ISO9001 Internal Auditor
• Spearhead Line QRQC improvements to improve process scrap
• Manage and follow through customer complaints through 8D report and ensure issues resolved and 8D report closed timely and satisfactorily
• Validates the complaint;
• Provides containment action plan within one working day;
• Works with the process engineer, production executive & APU manager on 8D report and responds to the customer within 5 working days, using QRQC methodology
• Closely following-up with the customer on 8D till customer\xe2\x80\x99s acceptance / closure;
• In the event of customer\xe2\x80\x99s request, to present the 8D report to the customer & if required, together with respective process engineer;
• Updates the complaint details (e.g. root causes, containment action, permanent CA) into Lynx if the complaint is logged into Lynx.
• Review and understand key process quality documents such as PFMEA, Process Control Plan, Inspection Standards, etc and perform periodical audit
• Respond to customer\xe2\x80\x99s requests, such as customer surveys, PPAP, OGI reports, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:\xe2\x80\x8b

• Diploma holders with 3 or more years of related experiences in a manufacturing environment
• Degree holders with more than 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in implementing ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO/IATF16949 is essential
• Experience in TQM implementation is needed
• Knowledge in assembly process, experience in PCBA or connector assembly will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of SPC application and experience in conducting quality audits essential
• Highly motivated with good interpersonal skills and team orientated
• Knowledge in manufacturing , preferably in electronics parts assembly process, experience in PCBA or connector assembly will be added advantage
• Good knowledge of Quality tools such as SPC and 7 QC tools
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO/IATF16949 quality system is essential
• Able to work independently
• Quick learner and forward looking
