Qa Executive (food Industry)

Job Description

1. Monitors and ensure correct and continuous implementation of QA system by coordinating workflow and supervising QA inspectors on QA related activities.

2. Monitor internal non conformances/defects/rejects captured with proper corrective and preventive actions executed by process owners. Calculate the cost of external and internal rejects with process owners and tabulate for presentation to management during monthly quality meetings.

3. Capture incoming defects highlighted either from suppliers of raw materials (wheat & packaging materials) or transporting vehicles and send SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) reports to suppliers in the event there is a quality defect. Follow up with suppliers on replies of SCAR by the stipulated time frame. Summarizes SCARS and supplier performances; and feedback to manager for further improvement plan with suppliers.

4. Implement and monitor food safety management system related activities stated in the PRP, HACCP or FSSC22000 manuals including timely submission of sample for food safety program and document controls.

5. Ensure successfulness application/ renewal of food safety system related certificates including FSSC22000, GMP, HACCP, Non-GMO Supply Chain, IVA cert, AQIS Permit, Halal, Kosher, Health cert, Free Sale cert etc.

6. To coordinate and verify that all critical equipment and machines sanitation and cleaning program are fully implemented in accordance to GMP & HACCP requirement.

7. Monitors and ensure proper documentation (recording and filing) of every sanitation and verification works. Alert management or feedback to superior, sanitation, production, bagging and warehouse in any deviation in food safety of product/ system. Identify proper corrective and preventive actions i.e propose changes of design or material of equipments or facility that can affect effective sanitation and food safety. Summarizes all cleaning activities for presentation to management in operation meeting.

8. Conduct food safety training to increase staff awareness on food safety related matters including GMP, HACCP, FSSC22000, Pest, Allergen, Non-GMO etc.

9. Assist Internal Auditor in conducting supplier audits or Internal Company Audits.

10. Conduct Quality presentation to customers in the absence of QA Assistant Manager/QA Manager

11. Conduct R & D studies/ activities related to quality assurance, food safety and food quality.

12. Implement and participate in TQM activities in order to achieve sustainable continuous improvement and finally customer delight.

13. To undertake other divisional QA role and responsibilities in each other's absence.

14. Other additional jobs as and when requested by Department Head

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
