Requirements
1.Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Science, or a related field.
2.Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries.
3.Experience with GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 22716 is an advantage.
4.Demonstrate a strong understanding of quality control principles, particularly in IPQC and PQC processes.
5.Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve production quality issues.
6.Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality management systems.
7.Have good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with Production and QC teams.
8.Be capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strict quality control requirements.
Responsibilities
1.Conduct in-process quality control (IPQC) checks to ensure compliance with quality standards and production specifications.
2.Perform sampling and testing at critical production stages to identify any deviations, defects, or abnormalities.
3.Verify product labeling, coding, and packaging during production to ensure accuracy and compliance.
4.Conduct post-production quality control (PQC) inspections on finished products before release.
5.Ensure that all finished products meet internal specifications, ISO 9001, ISO 22716, and Halal standards.
6.Review and complete batch records, quality reports, and other documentation before product release.
7.Investigate and document production deviations and quality defects, initiating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) when necessary.
8.Collaborate with Production, and QC teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure process improvements.
9.Perform routine inspections and internal audits on production lines to ensure compliance.
10.Review physical and chemical tests on in-process and finished products, such as pH, viscosity, and appearance testing.
11.Coordinate with the laboratory team for microbiological and lab testing when required.
12.Verify the integrity of raw materials and packaging components used in production.
13.Train QC inspectors on quality standards, defect identification, and GMP compliance to maintain high-quality standards.
14.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
15.Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including IPQC and PQC reports, and prepare weekly quality reports.
16.Monitor the functionality and verification of testing instruments, ensuring they operate correctly and reporting any malfunctions.
