About the job QA EXECUTIVE (SUPPLIER/INCOMING MATERIALS)
Responsibility: To ensure the safety and quality of incoming raw materials and packaging materials; to verify supplier compliance with food safety and regulatory/international standard; to evaluate and approve new suppliers through audits and performance monitoring; to verify Certificate of Analysis (COA), product specifications and support materials release decisions; to manage supplier documentation and quality records for traceability and compliance; to oversee pest management in receiving, processing, storage and surrounding areas by reviewing reports and verifying service execution; to coordinate with internal teams and external providers to resolve quality issues and implement improvements; and to support internal/external audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor' s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or related field.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in QA/QC roles within the food manufacturing. Salary RM3K and above depending on the qualification and experience.
- HACCP training or certification preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant standards: FSSC 22000, GMP, VHM, and Food Regulations 1985.
- Experience in supplier audit is preferred.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, documentation and reporting skills.
