Support and maintain compliance with IMS standards including ISO9001.
Participate in internal and external audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure QA systems and documentation are up to date and effectively implemented.
Customer Focus & CAPA
Ensure timely responses to customer complaints, lead failure analysis and root cause analysis.
Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) implementation and monitor their effectiveness.
Prepare and review First Article Inspection (FAI) and PPAP documentation for product qualifications.
Quality Monitoring & Improvement
Supervise incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality inspections, including disposition and containment actions.
Manage containment both internally and at customer sites when quality issues arise.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance analysis and initiate continuous improvement activities.
Perform statistical analysis; take action if data does not meet internal or customer standards.
Possess a basic understanding of how to use callipers, height gauges, and feeler gauges.
Product & Change Control
Review and approve Certificates of Conformance (CoC) before shipment.
Support engineering changes by verifying changes, approving lead lots, and monitoring performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth product introduction and release.
Leadership & Reporting
Train and guide QA inspectors and production operators on quality procedures and standards.
Prepare quality reports and maintain records for audits and customer requirements.
Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry (plastic blowing preferred).
Strong knowledge of production operations, manpower planning, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Mandarin and English proficiency is required to liaise with China HQ.
Able to work under pressure, lead a team, and handle shift work or overtime when needed.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
