Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying software defects, and collaborating with developers to ensure high-quality product releases. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to delivering exceptional software solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts Perform manual and automated testing across various platforms and devices Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking systems Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability Conduct regression testing to ensure bug fixes and new features don't introduce new issues Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, QTest) Proficiency in bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) Familiarity with agile development methodologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities ISTQB Foundation Level certification
Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete) Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery practices Additional QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level, CSTE)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
