Job Description

Job Summary:

The QAQC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all scaffold products and materials meet safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves the implementation of quality control systems, monitoring of manufacturing processes, and conducting inspections to guarantee the scaffolding meets the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control & Assurance:

Develop, implement, and maintain QAQC procedures and standards for scaffolding products. Inspect raw materials, semi-finished, and finished scaffold products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing processes and identify areas of improvement for product quality. Ensure all scaffolding products meet industry standards

Testing & Inspection:

Perform material testing (e.g., tensile, load-bearing) and inspect welds, joints, and overall scaffold assembly for structural integrity. Review and verify the accuracy of test reports, inspection data, and certification documents. Coordinate third-party testing and certification as needed for scaffolding products.

Documentation & Reporting

:

Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and any corrective actions taken. Prepare and present quality assurance reports to management, highlighting areas of concern, improvements, and status on quality-related issues.

Supplier and Vendor Management

:

Audit and assess suppliers and vendors of raw materials, ensuring that they meet the required quality standards. Work with the procurement department to ensure the quality of incoming materials.

Continuous Improvement:

Investigate customer complaints or non-conformance reports related to scaffolding products and implement corrective actions. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in product design, manufacturing processes, and overall quality management.

Compliance & Safety

:

Ensure all scaffolding manufacturing processes comply with local and international regulations and safety standards. Conduct safety audits and enforce quality standards to minimize risks during production.

Training & Development:

Provide quality assurance and control training to production staff to enhance their understanding of quality standards and processes. Keep up-to-date with industry developments, codes, and new quality control techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality control/assurance in manufacturing, preferably in scaffolding, construction, or related industries.

Knowledge of scaffolding systems, structural integrity, and safety standards (ISO 9001, CREAM)

Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and codes Proficiency in using QAQC tools and equipment Good communication skills, with proficiency in English language, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
