Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QAQC Engineer (Electrical) to ensure quality assurance and quality control for electrical works across our construction projects. The role involves inspecting, testing, documenting, and verifying that all electrical installations and materials meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor QAQC procedures and inspection test plans (ITPs) for electrical systems and installations. Conduct inspections and testing of electrical materials, equipment, and installations (e.g., cabling, switchboards, panels, grounding systems). Review and verify material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and other QAQC documentation. Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, IEE, MS), specifications, and client requirements. Coordinate with project teams, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve non-conformities and quality issues. Prepare and maintain records of inspection results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective/preventive actions. Assist in internal and external audits; support documentation for ISO or other relevant certifications. Liaise with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors for approvals and inspections. Participate in toolbox talks and quality awareness training for site teams. Support commissioning and testing activities for completed electrical systems.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum [2-5] years of experience in QAQC roles, preferably in electrical contracting or construction. Familiarity with local and international electrical standards and codes. Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and coordination abilities. Proficient in MS Office and basic AutoCAD (preferred).
