About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced QA/QC Professional to ensure the highest standards of quality across our diverse projects. This role is pivotal in overseeing quality assurance and control processes from initial fabrication and manufacturing through to final site installation and project handover. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of multiple engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality System & Strategy (Managerial Focus):

• Develop, implement, and maintain project quality plans, inspection test plans, and related procedures.
• Provide leadership and direction to the QA/QC team, ensuring strict adherence to quality protocols.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and third-party representatives for all quality-related matters.
• Manage the resolution of quality issues and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Oversee the completion and accuracy of all quality documentation and handover packages.

Technical Execution & Oversight (Engineering Focus):

• Oversee quality control for a range of project types, including:

• Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA): Inspection of civil works such as concrete, rebar, and structural steel installation.
• Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP): Inspection of mechanical systems (piping, equipment), electrical installations, and plumbing.
• Prefabricated Modules: Monitoring the fabrication and assembly of pre-built units, ensuring they meet design and functional specifications.
• Review and approve key fabrication and installation documents, including method statements and inspection checklists.
• Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and other functional performance tests for equipment and systems.
• Supervise on-site installation activities to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications.
• Conduct final inspections and walkdowns to identify and ensure the closure of any outstanding items before project handover.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related field).
• For Engineer level: Several years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction or manufacturing.
• For Manager level: Significant experience in a QA/QC role with demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Essential: Proven experience in at least two of the following areas: CSA, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), or prefabricated module manufacturing/installation.
• A strong understanding of general industry quality standards and best practices.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety is required.
