QAQC Engineer

(reporting to QAQC Manager)

& Responsibilities

The QAQC Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and adherence to standards of construction projects through comprehensive quality assurance and quality control measures. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and analytical skills to maintain rigorous quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Quality Assurance:

Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and processes to monitor and evaluate construction activities throughout project phases. Review project specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with quality standards. Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with approved methods, procedures, and specifications.

Quality Control

Perform quality control checks and tests on materials, components, and completed work to verify conformance with project requirements and industry standards. Identify and document non-conformities, discrepancies, and deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions to resolve issues promptly. Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and verify their effectiveness in addressing identified quality issues.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and evaluations conducted during construction activities. Prepare comprehensive reports detailing quality performance, findings, and recommendations for improvement. Communicate quality-related information to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Continuous Improvement

Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to implement preventive measures and best practices to enhance overall project quality. Participate in lessons learned sessions and contribute to the development of quality improvement initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, codes, standards, and specifications governing construction activities. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes related to quality assurance and quality control.

o Special Assignments: Handle special projects and assignments as directed by senior management.

Requirements:

Able to work under pressure Adaptable and can work well in team Willing to work in Johor Bahru Must have a valid CIDB green card Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or any related discipline Other professional certification will be an added advantage (Ts, Ir, Tc, CSS, etc) Data Centre experience will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
