Job requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Halal Management / Food Science & Technology Jakim Halal certification Minimum 3 years working experience in Food Industry Able to work independently with minimum supervision Effective communication and interpersonal skills Effective problem solving and research skills Food handler trainer certificate could be advantage

Halal Management

Ensure all products are registered and approved in JAKIM's portal. Register promotional products in JAKIM's portal and secure approvals. Assist in maintaining and updating Halal, FSSC, HACCP, GMP, and SOP plans. Keep all records and checklists up to date. Liaise with health authorities, JAKIM officers, and other regulatory bodies. Address internal and external inquiries regarding HALAL integrity. Conduct supplier audit to ensure materials meet Islamic and HALAL requirements. Develop the HALAL committee to ensure effective operations. Train and raise awareness among employees and the HALAL committee on HALAL integrity. Plan, coordinate, and conduct HALAL internal audits. Follow up on audit findings and train employees on HALAL topics. Monitor and report on HALAL industry developments or issues.

Quality Assurance Management

Implement and maintain quality and document control systems. Conduct internal quality audits in line with company standards and policies. Follow up on audit findings and train employees on quality standards. Involve in R&D for new product, test, develop SOPs from beginning until launching the product. Monitor and ensure product specifications meet quality standards. Analyse current processes and recommend improvements. Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards in the system. Do export documentation which involve FOSIM, permit application, DOF, MITI certificate and liaise with forwarder.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
