Develops, implements, and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with an internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards requirements for the facility
Develops methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the capability of production processes, production equipment, and finished products
Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and updates or changes to quality standards and procedures, when necessary
Works with product teams and TBUs to drive effective resolution to address customer feedback via the CAPA process
Ensures quality standards are consistently deployed in the facility and performs regular internal audits to identify opportunities for continual improvement and promote the adoption of best practices
Participates in the reviewing of engineering changes to contribute to quality requirements and considerations
Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data for problem solving, continual improvement, and Corporate reporting
Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Education and Work Experience:
Degree in Engineering or its equivalent experience
Minimum 8 years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001:2015, ISO17025:2017, and Statistical Tools
Good experience with Lean, 5S, Zero Defect manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and QC tools
Strong leadership, interpersonal, oral, and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Audit experience in product, process, and system audits
Knowledge of the Six Sigma approach is an advantage
