and Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
• Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with an internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards requirements for the facility
• Develops methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the capability of production processes, production equipment, and finished products
• Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and updates or changes to quality standards and procedures, when necessary
• Works with product teams and TBUs to drive effective resolution to address customer feedback via the CAPA process
• Ensures quality standards are consistently deployed in the facility and performs regular internal audits to identify opportunities for continual improvement and promote the adoption of best practices
• Participates in the reviewing of engineering changes to contribute to quality requirements and considerations
• Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data for problem solving, continual improvement, and Corporate reporting
• Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

• Degree in Engineering or its equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001:2015, ISO17025:2017, and Statistical Tools
• Good experience with Lean, 5S, Zero Defect manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and QC tools
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, oral, and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Audit experience in product, process, and system audits
• Knowledge of the Six Sigma approach is an advantage
