Carry out daily inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Identify and manage nonconforming items, including making disposition decisions.
Ensure proper use and regular calibration of measuring tools and instruments.
Coordinate and support customer witness inspections when required.
Quality Assurance (QA):
Prepare Material Test Certificates, Product Quality Plans, Project Quality Plans, and other related quality documentation.
Conduct supplier assessments and on-site quality audits.
Support internal and external audits by customers and certification bodies.
Environmental Management:
Monitor scheduled waste, air scrubber systems, and the Industrial Effluent Treatment Plant (IETP).
Conduct environmental briefings, site inspections, and compliance reviews in line with regulations.
Assist during audits conducted by customers or environmental authorities.
Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S):
Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses.
Ensure lifting equipment is safely operated and properly certified.
Conduct safety briefings, workplace inspections, and compliance checks with relevant legislation.
Participate in OH&S audits from clients and regulatory bodies.
Ensure the company's Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (QMS, EMS & OHSMS) remain compliant with applicable legal, regulatory, and international standards.
Perform any additional tasks or duties as assigned on an ad-hoc basis.
Job Requirements
Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quality Engineering, or any related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Quality, Environmental, and/or OH&S functions.
Knowledge of mechanical testing, XRF testing, microscopic examination, ISO standards, environmental legislation, fire safety, and OH&S compliance will be an added advantage.
Excellent written and spoken English, especially for preparing QEHS documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
