Academic Qualification

Diploma / SKM Level 2 or Level 3, or equivalent vocational qualification in a technical or science-related field (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Precision Engineering). Preferred:Certification or Diploma in Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology.

Specific Skills and Competencies Required

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including identification of tolerances and critical dimensions. Familiarity with common defect types related to semiconductor-grade metal parts (e.g., burrs, discoloration, sharp edges, dents). Proficient in the use of basic measurement tools (e.g., calipers, height gauges, go/no-go gauges). Understanding of fundamental quality control principles and workflows (e.g., hold-release processes, defect segregation). Strong discipline in adhering to procedures, especially those involving high-precision customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct visual inspections of in-process parts according to sampling standards, and perform dimensional verification on 5 sample pieces. Verify that part features, surface finishes, and labeling meet specified requirements prior to release. Identify, document, and report any non-conformances detected during final inspection. Issue Non-Conforming Product Reports (NCPRs) with detailed descriptions and photographic evidence. Inspect and verify barcode and packing labels for each lot to ensure accuracy of Part Number, Quantity, Revision Level, and any customer-specific markings. Complete Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) buy-off inspection records and label verification sheets for each shipment. Ensure all inspection records and documentation are properly completed and traceable for audit or customer traceability purposes. Maintain cleanliness and ensure timely calibration of all inspection tools and equipment.
