Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

1.To ensure the department's procedure needed for the QMS implemented and maintained.

2.To manage 5S activity in the departments.

3.To ensure all quality inspection plan at production floor comply with the ISO Quality Standard.

4.To ensure smooth operations of QC department.

5.To ensure product quality meet product specification or guideline to maintain the high standard of quality control and work closely with the Machine Operators, Packing team and other relevant department on product quality issues.

6.To inspect components following first-run production of new item and advises production of type of defects noted and need for machine adjustment to ensure quality specifications are met.

7.To supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in inspecting incoming materials, in process components, and finished fabricated products to ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer specifications.

8.To plan and arrange daily QC Inspectors activities.

9.To ensure QC inspectors are following procedures and Work Instructions established.

10.To conduct appropriate training for QC inspector

11.To report performance of QC/QA Inspector and Officer as required

12.To ensure the quality of finished products from production line before delivery to customer.

13.To co-ordinate with warehouse & store for daily delivery arrangement

14.To handle customer complaint and ensure reply all complaints and prompt investigation root cause for corrective and preventive actions

15.To confers with customer representative to resolve complaints when necessary.

16.To notify suppliers and subcontractors of reasons for rejection of materials and parts received.

17.To manage document preparation and monthly quality performance report of production lines to the QA/QC Executives and Manager.

18.Assist manager to develop and implement controls and improvements19.And any other job as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements

Education:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Quality or related.

Experience:

2-4 years in QA/inspection within machining/fabrication (fresh grads with strong fundamentals considered for Junior QA).

Technical Skills:

Reading engineering drawings &

GD&T

; selection of proper measuring methods. Hands-on with

CMM/vision

systems and common handheld gauges. Excel (basic Pivot/LOOKUP/COUNTIFS), simple SPC charts; report writing. Familiar with

ISO 9001

(IATF 16949/AS9100 exposure is a plus).

Soft Skills:

Detail-oriented, objective judgment, strong follow-through, clear communication with production, suppliers, and customers.

Languages:

Good English; Malay/Chinese a plus.
KPIs

First-Pass Yield (FPY):

? 98% for final inspection lots.

Customer DPPM:

? agreed target (e.g., ? 500 DPPM).

In-Process Defect Rate:

month-on-month reduction ? 10% until target met.

NCR/CAR Closure:

100% on time; average closure ? 14 calendar days.

Calibration Compliance:

100% on-time calibration; zero overdue gauges.

Document Accuracy:

0 critical errors in FAIR/inspection reports
