Job Responsibilities

To oversee and manage the laboratory as well as conduct inspection and testing on raw materials and in -process materials To maintain records for all testing performed and update laboratory quality records and issue monthly reports Able to supervise and train new lab technician regarding lubricant quality control and lubricant formulation To assist Operations Manager in formulating as well as rectification works To perform QC analysis on semi-finished products and finished products with minimal supervision and report directly to the Operations Manager on all related issues To ensure blended oils are within spec before releasing To ensure all critical equipment are maintained, services and calibrated To assist Operations Manager in stock control, planning and managing the company's QMS To help supervise loading and unloading works of base oils and other raw materials To plan and allocate production work to production or blending department To conduct RCA for lubricant failure in quality control To plan for preventive maintenance and calibration for each testing equipment and ensure following calibration schedule To train new lab assistant regarding lubricant quality control and lubricant formulation To maintain good laboratory practices To comply with company's rules and regulations Perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Degree or diploma in Chemistry or Chemical engineering or Applied chemistry. A Certified chemist with Institute Kimia Malaysia (IKM) is required At least 1 or 2 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position Candidate with a solid understanding in basic lubricant testing and formulation will be added advantage Willing to work under pressure and able to work independently with minimum supervision Candidate must have basic understanding in ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001 Candidate with fundamental understanding in lubricant application is required Familiar with differentiate each component function in lubricant formulation, able to correlate between lubricant testing with performance of fluid and have basic understanding Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Possess own transport, able to work independently, attention to details and sense of urgency Must be proficiency in Microsoft Office (words, excel, outlook) Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia Full time position(s) available Applications must be willing to work in Klang

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
