Job Description

Working hours are Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm, with daily toolbox meeting at 7:30am.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect blasting and painting activities on oil & gas structures for compliance with client specifications.

Monitor environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, dew point) and surface profile requirements.

Ensure correct paint systems are used, mixed, and applied as per manufacturer's specifications.

Measure and document Dry Film Thickness (DFT) and other key coating parameters.

Detect and report coating defects such as holidays, runs, sags, and pinholes.

Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate findings with the team.

Ensure safety and environmental compliance during all blasting and coating operations.

Qualifications:

NACE/IMM Level 2 certification

3+ years of experience in blasting and painting inspection in oil and gas projects.

Strong knowledge of coating standards and inspection techniques relevant to offshore and onshore environments.

Key Skills:

Familiar with all QC inspection tools and standards.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, paint specifications, and QA/QC procedures.

Strong reporting and communication skills.

Commitment to safety and environmental standards in oil and gas settings.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
