Job Description

Sensory Evaluation:



Conduct sensory testing three times daily (8.30am, 10.30am, and 3.30pm).

Evaluate appearance, colour, size, weight, texture, and taste of each product.

Perform sensory tests upon request from superior or production.

Report any non-conformance findings immediately to the Person-in-Charge (PIC).

Store all test samples in the chiller for a minimum of two weeks before disposal.

Complete daily sensory forms and record any feedback or remarks.

Laboratory Testing:



Send product samples to the Microbiology Lab for texture testing.

Conduct salt testing as required by customers or when high levels are detected during sensory evaluation.

Notify HOD and sensory panelists immediately if salt readings exceed standards.

Preparation & Equipment Handling:



Ensure all sensory-related materials and equipment are prepared and calibrated for each session.

Prepare

sugar solution

for production use when necessary.

Cleanliness & Housekeeping:



Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of the sensory testing and QC areas at all times.

Audit Support:



Assist and support the QA team during internal and external

audit activities

.

Record Keeping & Reporting:



Record all sensory and test data accurately and maintain daily logs.

Prepare and report test results on sensory evaluations promptly.

Other Duties:



Perform any other duties as assigned by superior or management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
